Biportal endoscopic spine surgery involves using two separate small incisions to access the spine with an endoscope and specialized instruments. This approach provides enhanced visualization and precise manipulation of spinal tissues. It minimizes muscle and tissue damage, leading to reduced postoperative pain, quicker recovery, and shorter hospital stays.
Robotic spine surgery utilizes advanced robotic systems to assist surgeons in performing precise spinal procedures. The robot enhances accuracy in placing screws and implants, allowing for minimally invasive techniques. This approach can lead to reduced complications, faster recovery, and improved outcomes due to the enhanced precision and control.
